Warp Nature
Incantation: “Flectere”
Range: Touch
Level Effect: Minutes that warped object remains warped
Description: This spell bends and sculpts natural materials. Wood, bone and shell. This causes weapons and shields wood causes shields, to be unusable for minutes equal to ranks in this spell. It can also make a natural material into a weapon or shield for one combat that has a rating of ranks in this spell plus its base material rating.
Quicksand
Incantation:“Syrtis”
Range: 20'
Level Effect: Minutes ground is melted
Description: If the floor is made of natural material, this spell “melts” the floor into a semi solid liquid about the consistency of quicksand. Any characters in the radius, sink into the floor up to their knees for 1 minute per rank of this spell, during which time they may not move their legs. If the target has twice the Strength rating of this spell, they may pull out of the quicksand by role playing pulling themselves free.
Regenerate
Incantation: “Renovare”
Range: Touch
Level Effect: Levels of Health Recovered
Description: This spell can restore a living body to perfection. Re-attaching, or making new limbs! As long as the creature is alive, it can even overcome Incinerate. This spell heals for ranks in this spell and any Ardor Spent.
Tangle Root
Incantation: “Nodatus”
Range: Touch, Spell Ball
Level Effect: 10 seconds of Tangle Root per level of spell
Description: This spell causes the target to be held in place; they may not move from that spot, for 10 count per spell level. During this time, they can take damage and speak.
Potions
Sleep
Ingredients: 2 Herbs, 1 Crystal
Level Effect: 5 minutes of sleep per level
Description: The target falls asleep and cannot wake up for 5 minutes per rank of this potion.
Wonderous Dreams
Ingredients: 1 feather, 1 mushroom, 1 Crystal
Level Effect: see below
Description: If taken while sleeping this potions produces such intensely pleasant dreams that the character gains a retry on any skill check for every level of this potion. For those not sleeping, this potion creates a pain free, mildly euphoric state for hours equal to levels in this potion. Commonly used by healers to relieve pain.
Doorway
Ingredients: 3 stones, 1 crystal
Level Effect: duration of doorway, 30 count per level
Description: This potion creates an opening through a solid object to the other side. If the barrier is thicker then 6’, it will take a level for each 6’ of thickness, if it has the levels.
Ritual
Earthmeld
Incantation: “Ego sum pars terrae”
Ingredients: 5 Crystals of 5 different colors placed at each hand and foot and one at the head.
Circle: 10’
Level Effect: 1 hour per level
Description: With this spell, the caster can merge with the ground around them or meld a willing target into the ground. This Works on soil or rock. The target takes out a black veil and lies down with the crystals around them. Once the chant is complete, the target puts the veil over them. While melded with the earth the character is invisible and immune to all attacks. They must remain lying on the ground and cannot move except for looking around by moving only their head (unless there is a safety concern of course), and cannot speak, but they can see and listen. The caster may prematurely abort this spell at will. The spell last for 1 hour per rank in this spell, Ardor can be spent as well. Alternatively, the caster may take one other character into the Earth Meld per rank in this spell for one hour each. This spell cannot be cast with any weapons in hand, but they can be on the caster or target’s person, taken into the earth meld with them.
Shelter
Incantation: “Haec domus mea est”
Ingredients: 5 Stones, 1 Crystal

Level Effect: See below
Description: This incantation raises a 10’ diameter domed shelter of the ground. If raised for defense it will last for 10 minutes or until released and have a Shield rating of the Levels in this spell against all types of damage. Or if raised as a place to stay, it will last for hours equal to the levels in this spell. The inside is a comfortable temperature, dry, with clean air no matter the outside conditions.
Temporary Enchantment
Incantation: “Hoc item est magicae mensura”
Ingredients: Chalk, Crystal, Bronze Coin
Range: Touch
Level Effect: Uses per rank
Description: This Ritual binds a spell to an object temporarily. At least one of the Casters of this ritual must know the spell that is being bound into the item. They invoke the Temporary Enchantment incantation and then cast the spell onto the Object that they wish to bind together. They may place a condition that will trigger the spell to be active, or an activation phrase. All spells used in the enchantment must be of the same school. Enchantment will last indefinitely but may only be used a number of times equal to Rank in Enchanted Item Spell + Ardor Spent and the spell effect will be equal to the ranks in that spell. Area effect spells can be bound to a room, perimeter markers, or similar, those are called a Ward.
Earthen Armor
Incantation: “Lapis fortis”

Level Effect: Grant 2 shield rating and one strength per rank, target cannot move their feet
Description: Encase a willing target in stone granting a shield rating of two and one strength per rank, Spell ends if the target moves their feet
