Incantation
Heal
Incantation: “Salutem”
Range: Touch
Level Effect: Number of Health restored
Description: This cures a living target of all types of damage equal to the level of this spell.
Circle of Protection
Incantation: “Praesidio”
Range: Touch
Level Effect: Minutes spell can protect, circle size
Description: Whilst casting this invocation, the caster lays out a circle of rope of no more than 3 feet diameter or uses a hoola hoop, which they will be inside of. Whilst they stay inside the circle, nothing (object / spell / creature) may pass into or out of the ward. If the caster leaves the circle, it ends. This spell lasts for minutes equal to ranks in this spell. Spell levels can be used to protect more people at one per level. When enchanted onto an object it can either be a normal casting of the spell, or grant a shield rating of 2 per rank.
Clear Sight
Incantation: “Videns”
Range: Line of Sight
Level Effect: Level of Illusions that can be seen through
Description: For one encounter, the target can see through Illusions up to the rank of this spell.
Stun
Incantation: “Stupefacio”
Range: Touch/ 10’ circle
Level Effect: 10 count of stun
Description: With a touch the mystic disorients all senses of the target. While they still have their senses, none of them are working properly. They will often swing about wildly if under attack, or simply try to get under cover. Most lose their balance. But none can appropriately respond in any fashion.
Potions
Remove Fear
Ingredients: 1 Fang, 1 cup of alcohol (liquid courage.)
Level Effect: Number of hours immune to fear.
Description: This removes Fear from the target recipient. Or makes them immune for hours equal to this potion’s rating.
Neutralize Poisons
Ingredients: A vial of Venom, 4 herbs
Level Effect: Level of Poison Cleared
Description: Cleanses one type of poison from the target up to the rank of this potion. If the target is suffering form 2 different types of poison, only one will be neutralized.
Healing
Ingredients: 10 Herbs
Level Effect: Number of Health Recovered
Description: This cures a living target of all types of damage equal to the level of this spell.
Sympathy
Ingredients: 1 Heart, 1 Fang
Level Effect: Max amount of transferred damage.
Description: This potion reflects back damage done to it’s drinker back onto their attacker for a short amount of time. When the drinker is attacked, they call out “Sympathy” and the rank. The attacker takes the damage instead of the drinker. If the Sympathy potion’s rating is higher than the amount of damage, then the potion’s rating becomes the remainder. So, if the potion started with a rating of 4 and then reflected 2 damage on the first attack, then the potion’s new rating is 2 and the attacker took 2 damage. Conversely if the attacker deals more damage than the potion’s rating, then the potion can only reflect it’s rating of damage and the drinker takes the remainder of the damage. So in this example, if the potion’s rating is 4 and the attacker deals 6 damage, the attacker takes 4 reflected damage and the drinker takes 2 damage.
Ritual
Protection of Disease
Incantation: “Hoc custodiat te a morbo”
Ingredients: 5 Spines, 10 Hides
Circle: 10’
Level Effect: Number of days, Ranks of Disease protected against or cured.

Sanctuary
Incantation: “Hoc loco, terra sancta est”
Ingredients: 10 Spines or Horns
Circle: 10’ Radius per spell level
Level Effect: Strength of the Protective Shield, size of the shield
Description: This ritual creates anarea within it, in which no one can be harmed. In order to harm those within, an attacked must first destroy the spell by dealing magic damage to the protective wall equal to the total spell level and the total ardor of all the casters. Additional casters may work together to add their spell levels and ardor to the Sanctuary for a truly spectacular fortification. This ritual last as long as the caster is within the circle and conscious, if there are multiple casters, they can take turns sleeping.
Ritual of Resurrection
Incantation: “Hoc corpus vivet iterum”
Ingredients: One Dead Body! (+ Personal item,) 1 heart, 15 Herbs, 1 Mushroom,
Circle: 10’
Level Effect: Amount of Health Points recovered
Description: The dead character should be taken to the Ritual Circle and the Ritual performed on them. This Ritual can raise a character that was completely destroyed as long as they had at least one core point left, in which case the Caster must know their Name and have a personal item. This ritual heals Health Points to total ranks in this Ritual from all casters and Ardor points spent. The character begins the Resurrection count, counting to their full health pool. If interrupted (attacked during the count,) they may attempt to resurrect again, even if the mystic is not there to perform the spell again by spending a Core Point, or take how much health they have recovered and run. Through this ritual, the dead does not need to complete the Death Quest.
Hack Sometimes, you really want them to stay dead, but things in the Discarded World are rather stubborn about dying. The solution is the messy prospect of Hack. After a foe has fallen, the character waits for the mystics to begin to resurrect the foe. Once the foe has said started the Resurrection Count, the character strikes the foe again, calling “Hack,” reducing the foe below zero and therefor killing them again. If they still have core points, Rise and Repeat until the foe has run out of Core Points. If the foe goes on the Death Quest however, the character will have to wait for them to exit the town’s Non-Combat zone.
Change Form
Incantation: “Habeo desiderium”
Ingredients: 1 live Body, 10 Herbs, 1 Mushroom, 1 Component appropriate to the change
Circle: 10’

Description: Sometimes a body is just not what one wants. Perhaps a nose, or ears or a tummy roll. Only one body part at a time can be changed at a time with this ritual, so if extensive changes are desired, they can get labor intensive, and expensive. Changes can be undone with this ritual as well.
